In Kilpisjärvi area there are many lakes and ponds full of northern fish species such as graylings, arctic chars and white fishes. Your local guide is specialised in all of those, so name a fish you want to catch and you’ll be guided to the best ice fishing places of that particular species. 

This tour is suitable for every skill level, from beginners with little experience to experienced fishers. The tour will be customised to suit your skill level.

Prices:

400 € / 4 h / 1-2 ppl, extra person +50 €

600€ / 8 h / 1-2 ppl, extra person +100 €

Includes snowmobile transfers, hot beverages (coffee / tea / juice), private guiding and ice fishing equipment.

Winter clothing sets can be rented for 25 € /person. The set includes: overalls, winter boots, woolen socks, gloves, helmet hat and a helmet.

GRAYLING, ARCTIC CHAR OR WHITE FISH ICE FISHING IN SPRING TIME

Full-day guided ice fishing tour in the Käsivarsi Wilderness Area.

After the long and dark polar night, the sun starts to shine also in the far north which means the ice fishers spend their days on the wilderness lakes enjoying the sunny spring days and snowy scenery aiming to catch big graylings, white fishes and red-bellied arctic chars.

Your day starts in a comfy sleigh pulled by a snowmobile. While you travel to your ice fishing spot, you can admire the snowy sceneries of "the white desert" in the Käsivarsi Wilderness Area.

You'll have a campfire snacks and hot beverages during the day. 

This tour is suitable for every skill level, from beginners with little experience to experienced fishers. The tour will be customised to suit your skill level.

Available from end of February to beginning of May, depending on the amount of snow.
